Leland C. Frederick (Lee)

July 25, 1925 to August 25, 2017


Lee served in the United States Navy from November 28, 1944 to July July 16, 1946.  He trained at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center.  Upon graduation, he was assigned to the USS Springfield, a light cruiser operating in the Pacific.  Lee was a Petty Officer 3rd class with a Quartermaster rating.


Lee was in Tokyo Bay when the peace treaty was signed ending WW2.  


In September 2010, Lee was honored by going on the Freedom Honor Flight from La Crosse WI to Washington DC.


Lee and Carole Frederick got their lot at Rover's Roost in February 2014.  Carole plans to make their lot her home in 2018.
