Why RoVer's Roost

The SKP entrance sign at RoVer's Roost.

We offer significantly lower rates than big-city RV parks because we're run by residents, not investors. Full hookups done right — 30/50 amp, water, and sewer at every site, with on-site dump station and propane. "Caring & Sharing" isn't a slogan here — it's how we plan events, look after each other, and make newcomers feel like long-time friends. Please note: we have a 40-foot rig limit.

And, we are strategically located. Located between Phoenix and Tucson, RoVer's Roost RV Retreat perfectly positions you to enjoy both cities — while coming home to a quiet, authentic farming environment in a relaxed desert setting. Bask in quiet nights, open skies, and no traffic noise.

Our park runs on volunteers. Residents lead the activities, host the coffee klatch, and welcome every new face. If you're 55+ and love to share your talents — whether that's leading trivia night, fixing a leaky faucet, organizing a potluck, or simply being a good neighbor — you'll fit right in.

Bring Your Talents — There's a Committee Waiting

Members at a Roof Raisers fundraising event.

Whether you've spent your life teaching, fixing engines, baking pies, painting watercolors, balancing books, or simply telling great stories, your skills will find a home here. Our 17 committees plan socials, organize trips, maintain the grounds, run the library, host new arrivals, and a dozen other things that keep the Roost feeling like family.

From craft tables to garden boxes to jam sessions in the library — there's almost always something fun happening, and the door is always open.
